Bus Tour (Veggie Powered)

In January, we bought a year 2000 Bluebird school bus and began converting it. After the winter, it runs on Waste Vegetable Oil, is bright green, has hardwood floors, a roof deck, a rear porch, a wrap around bar, hammock, and video editing room.

Check it out and feel free to ask us more about it!

    Love it!

I’m converting an old Bluebird to run on WVO as well. I work at Kateri Environmental Center in NJ and we’re turning it into a mobile laboratory to take to schools. Any advice? It looks like we’ll be using the Greasecar kit for a Dodge Ram (cummins 5.9L 12V) and having the work done by local college and/or county votech kids. I’m especially interested in more inside photos/video and your lessons learned on the conversion and with bus operations. Thanks!

Help Fund An Adventure For Good

Well folks, we are on the road! Thanks to over 200 individual and business supporters we have a beautiful bus, some functional production equipment, and enough money to get across the country on ramen, waste vegetable oil, and home-cooked meals whenever they present themselves. We can not appreciate those contributors enough: thanks to everyone who has given so far we are on the adventure of a lifetime and spreading optimism across the nation. We desperately need money for emergency situations (our bus has already broken down once), to contribute to causes across the country (we have a little...we would like a lot), and to make our trip that much healthier (greens are expensive). So check out the site, and contribute if you would like to support three young men on an Adventure for Good.
