Fort Collins Colorado

At a Sustainability Fair

We left the Badlands headed for Fort Collins, CO, where Kelsey had some friends that we were going to meet up with briefly. On our way to Colorado we had to stop at Mt. Rushmore, the biggest sculpted heads around. As cool as it is to see such massive sculptures, the whole scene there is very sterile and we couldn’t help but think it was kind of an aberration to set up this site in such a beautiful natural setting. As we left we all agreed that we never wanted our faces carved into any mountainsides.

At any rate, we made our way to Fort Collins where we met Tiffany and Crystal. They rocked. They almost immediately started concocting a ridiculous challenge for us. and turned our day long visit into a week long fiesta. Turns out CSU, the local college has an annual undie-run clothing drive. Normally these runs are known about for months in advance and the campus is plastered with information fliers.

The girls gave us a day to organize and execute the run. Unable to turn down such a ridiculous idea, we immediately brainstormed a plan. 1- Get attention 2-make it happen. Simple enough of a plan right? Check out the video HERE.

With our time in Ft. Collins at an end we said one last goodbye to our new friends and our new favorite hangout, the Mayor of Old Town, and we headed off towards Denver.

Help Fund An Adventure For Good

Well folks, we are on the road! Thanks to over 200 individual and business supporters we have a beautiful bus, some functional production equipment, and enough money to get across the country on ramen, waste vegetable oil, and home-cooked meals whenever they present themselves. We can not appreciate those contributors enough: thanks to everyone who has given so far we are on the adventure of a lifetime and spreading optimism across the nation. We desperately need money for emergency situations (our bus has already broken down once), to contribute to causes across the country (we have a little...we would like a lot), and to make our trip that much healthier (greens are expensive). So check out the site, and contribute if you would like to support three young men on an Adventure for Good.
